is the Home Builders Institute’s Building Construction Technology instructor at Maui Job Corps Center. He joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union in 1982, moved to Hawaii in 1985, and later began working in the construction industry and founded his own company. Darren hopes to inspire his students and teach them the skills he has learned throughout his career to give them a great start for their own lives.

In her free time, Peggy is part of a motorcycle club, team captain at Valley Isle Bowling Club and a member of Ahahui Ka’ahumanu Chapter IV. She enjoys riding her motorcycle, bowling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

His hospitality experience spans several resorts, hotels and restaurants in the Maui area, and he also has experience as an educator at local high schools and community colleges. Larry enjoys incorporating his love for cooking and passion for teaching into his daily work, helping students gain real-life skills and build a strong foundation for their futures.
