lead Carpentry instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center, received training in electrical studies, architectural drawing and general construction in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. He has worked in carpentry for over 20 years in several cities constructing, erecting, installing, finishing and repairing concrete, wood, metal and vinyl structures, and fixtures on residential and commercial buildings. He holds several certifications in construction, safety and management, and has had the privilege to work with great students.

Eric (Chef Ric) Duplisea

is an Advanced Baking and Pastry instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. He has worked at Penobscot Job Corps since 2010 and previously held worked as a chef and manager at several restaurants and bakeries. Chef Ric also traveled internationally serving as a chief steward on tanker ships, feeding and caring for 25–50 shipmates.

is a Health Care Orientation instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. She started at Penobscot Job Corps in 2000 as the Career Technical Readiness instructor, and then transitioned to career technical secretary so that she could have more interaction with students after they left Job Corps. Amy has experience as a certified nurse assistant and worked in a health care office for many years. She is passionate about helping others learn and grow and enjoys working with students who are pursuing careers as a certified medical assistant or certified nurse assistant.

Donald Sherburne

has served as Welding instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center for over a decade. Donnie was introduced to welding and fabrication at age 10, trained in the field, and had formal training through KVVTI. He has been welding for 30 years as a welder fabricator, structural welder, heavy equipment operator, construction specialist, maintenance specialist and millwright.

William Mixer

is a Welding instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. He previously worked at Cianbro Corporation for 25 years as a welder, foreman, general foreman and welding instructor. William also worked at Fab Newport for five years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and following NASCAR and Boston sports teams.
