has a degree in culinary arts and over 16 years of experience in the industry. He has worked as a chef in casinos, fine dining restaurants, health care food services, and as a consultant. Joseph was also the youngest and only Philadelphia-based chef to hold an executive position during the opening of Philadelphia’s two casinos.

is a 20-year veteran who retired from the United States Air Force as a master sergeant with the duty title of production superintendent. He is certified in several areas including manufacturing and production technology, carpentry, and HVAC repair. In his classes, students will learn fundamental construction techniques such as basic safety, how to use hand and power tools, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and electrical installation.
