was a student at Job Corps from March 2014 to August 2014, when he graduated with Collision Repair certification. After completing his training at Job Corps, he was offered a job at Precision Toyota Collision Center. He also previously worked for Amazon doing body repair and painting of their delivery vans for two years. Eight years after graduating from Job Corps, he was offered the Collision Repair instructor position at Fred G. Acosta Job Corps Center for the same class he graduated from in 2014. 

has served as a Culinary Arts instructor with Talking Leaves Job Corps Center for nearly 20 years. She loves working, educating and counseling individuals in diverse cultures. Linda ensures they have training, resources and services to empower them to meet their own needs and situations and to identify ways to address changes to assure success.

works as a General Educational Development instructor at Talking Leaves Job Corps Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University, as well as “Highly Qualified” teaching certification from the Oklahoma State Department of Education. She loves to see the joy on her students’ faces when they have received their GED certificates.

has been in the health care field for over 17 years. She started as a patient care aide with Home Health while obtaining her CNA license. Alisa attended Tulsa Technology Center to obtain her LPN license. She has worked as a licensed practical nurse for six years. Alisa enjoys helping students accomplish their goals and learn new things. She is happy to be able to assist with training in the future of health care.  

works as the Driver’s Education instructor at Talking Leaves Job Corps Center. He has 17 years of experience in education, including training, recruitment, counseling, development and implementation. David has excellent capacities for peer mediation and communication with individuals involved in both the private and public sectors. He provides exceptional organization and presentation skills and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education and a Master of Arts degree in educational administration from Northeastern State University.

has been teaching at Talking Leaves Job Corps Center for nearly 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in education and a certification in Oklahoma State Teaching. Robert is an articulate communicator and can effectively interact with a diverse population of students at a variety of academic levels. He consistently maintains an excellent relationship with his students and expects each student to be professional.

serves as an Electrical Wiring instructor at Talking Leaves Job Corps Center. He has worked in construction for over 20 years and taught for over five years. Nathan has two degrees from Oklahoma State University, including the Ford ASSETT (Automotive Electrical Diagnostic) program and heating, ventilation and air conditioning. He also has completed OSHA 500, 510 and 502 training. He loves teaching his students skills to prepare them to enter the workforce and help with finding them their first jobs.

is a Math instructor with Talking Leaves Job Corps Center and has been teaching for more than 22 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree and a master’s degree at East Central University. Clay also has a certification in Oklahoma State Teaching, which he uses to teach students valuable math skills that they can use in their careers.

works as a certified Clinical Medical Assistant instructor for Talking Leaves Job Corps Center. She received her Associate of Business degree from the University of Phoenix and certification in phlebotomy from Indian Capital Technology Center, and she studied nursing at Bacone College. Jessica enjoys teaching and training in skills achievement and sharing new techniques with students.

Lorrita Anderson graduated from the Nebraska School of Nursing, where she received her registered nurse designation. She graduated from Northeastern State University, where she received her Master of Science degree. Lorrita has been a dedicated nurse for over 30 years and finds great satisfaction in motivating and educating students in classroom studies and demonstrating clinical skills.
