As a graduate of the Job Corps program, Tavaris wanted to give back to the program that gave so much to him. He completed certification in Advanced Wildland Fire Management and previously worked as an assistant engine chief with the Cibola National Forest in New Mexico.

has taught the Office Administration training area at Lyndon B. Johnson Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center for nearly a decade. She started at Job Corps as a part-time counselor, then became a full-time Academics instructor, where she taught computer technology and GED writing. Jacquie moved to the office administration department, and this allowed her to continue to encourage students to excel by setting career goals in the office administration field.

has worked at Lyndon B. Johnson Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center for over a decade as a Facilities Maintenance instructor. He has held several landscaping, repair and maintenance positions and enjoys helping students become better people and gain skills that will help them in the future. 

has worked in the food service industry since she was 15 years old. Angela graduated from Southwestern Community College with associate degrees in culinary arts and business administration. After finishing her education, she continued her career as a Culinary Arts instructor at Lyndon B. Johnson Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. Angela has always had a love for food and the art behind it.

, Welding instructor at Pine Knot Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, brings a 20-year career in welding to the classroom. He earned a combination welding degree from Tennessee College of Applied Technologies and gained experience through various welding jobs, including building nuclear waste containers for several years. Matthew always strives to help students and provide them with the resources needed for success.

is the Carpentry instructor at the Pine Knot Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center and has been a United Brotherhood carpenter for over a decade. Adam’s area of proficiency is interior systems, from commercial metal studs to drywall, to layout, to ceilings. He also has experience in scaffolding and general trade work. Adam enjoys helping students develop skills needed to become carpenters.
