Charles Ketch

Automotive Technical instructor, started a career in automotive repair straight out of high school as a certified Ford technician in 1989. He accepted a position in security at Loring Job Corps Center in 1999. Due to his love for the automotive industry, Charlie accepted his current position in 2015 and earned his Automotive Service Excellence certification. He continues to pass on his knowledge and passion to students.

Beth L. Tilmont, RDH

is an Academic instructor at Loring Job Corps Center, primarily teaching high school equivalency and high school diploma, as well as TABE Reading and Math. Prior to joining the Loring Job Corps team, Beth was a dental hygienist for 30 years and continued her education in foreign language (French) with a minor in health sciences. Over the years, she has worked with many of our ESL students who have had great successes.

Academic instructor at Guthrie Job Corps Center, previously worked as a copy editor in the advertising industry before earning his high school instruction certification for Oklahoma and Texas. He is motivated each day knowing that the education students receive from Job Corps gives them an opportunity to be successful adults.

He earned a master’s degree in English and brings over 21 years of experience teaching in secondary education to his role at Job Corps. Jason is honored to teach students who are invested in the classes and are committed to improving their lives.

Russell Thayer

is a High School Diploma/High School Equivalency instructor at Guthrie Job Corps Center, joining the team more than eight years ago. Russell has over 36 years of teaching experience, as well as a bachelor’s degree in math and two master’s degrees in business. He loves teaching students and giving them opportunities to improve their skills and futures.

Luis Romero

is a High School Diploma/High School Equivalency instructor at Guthrie Job Corps Center.  In addition to several years of teaching and laboratory experience, Luis has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico and a master’s degree in physical and analytical chemistry from Michigan State University. He gets satisfaction from helping students break the poverty cycle by earning their high school education.

is the Reading and English as a Second Language instructor at Guthrie Job Corps Center.  Janice has a bachelor’s degree in education from The University of Central Oklahoma and 25 years of teaching experience with Oklahoma City Public Schools. She enjoys working at Job Corps and helping students become better prepared for their future.
