is an Academic Test of Adult Basic Education Math instructor at Penobscot Job Corps Center. She also has worked as a residential counselor and Career Preparation Period instructor. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in mathematics from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2018. She also earned Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician/Community certification and certification in Risk Management Assurance®, as well as training in Safety-Care®, safety zone and suicide prevention, and is certified in risk management assurance, safety care, safety zone, suicide prevention and Step UP! bystander intervention. Melissa also previously served as a peer educator and peer mentor to assist others in completing their career goals.
