In the Advanced Highway Construction, Pre-Apprenticeship training program, you will earn industry-recognized credentials from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Forklift certifications, CPR and First Aid certifications, and a state-issued credential/license.
Students should also earn a state-issued learner’s permit and driver’s license upon completion of the program.

- Completion of a Job Corps basic training program
- Meet academic (math and reading) requirements
- Positive attendance and progress record
- At least 17 years old
- Written recommendation from Job Corps center personnel
